This gives you plenty of time to shoot your face off before the deadline so there’s no excuses for not participating! The MSPF finalists will have their work displayed at the Festival’s main gallery at HistoryMiami Museum as well as being published in the Miami Street Photography Festival website for 3 years.

The first round of judges for this year’s contest are from the featured collectives, Spontanea and The Street Collective and include Dmitry Stepanenko, Umberto Verdoliva, Mary Cimetta, Vineet Vohra and Stefano Mirabella. Judge bios and links can be found on the 2015 MSPF judges page.

StreetShootr’s Take

It seems that there’s always another street photography contest but the 2015 Miami Street Photography Festival promises to be a good one. Last year’s competition attracted some of the biggest names in street photography and the finalists were amazing across the board. The thing to remember is that this one is being judged by actual street photographers in addition to legendary photographers like David Alan Harvey and Bruce Davidson. BRUCE DAVIDSON! Forget the Leica Q, it’s worth the entry fee just to have him look at your work!
