Last Chance To Submit Photos For 2015 Miami Street Photography Festival
The Miami Street Photography Festival has been called The Olympics Of Street Photography and this year’s competition is looking like the best to date. It’s International competition with a two tiered judging system that includes some of the top names in street photography today. Winning this one not only means the respect of your peers but you’ll also get a brand new Leica Q worth over $4000 USD!
The featured collectives (The Street Collective and Spontanea) choose the finalists from all the entries and the final winners are chosen by the featured photographers which this year include David Alan Harvey and Bruce Davidson. Unlike other contests, the Miami Street Photography Festival prides itself on using judges that are practicing photographers who are intimately familiar with street photography as a medium. The judges are top tier and the quality of the winners and finalists from past years reflects this!
2015 Miami Street Photography Festival Awards
2nd and 3rd place images will each receive an Ona bag and a one year subscription to Adobe Creative Clous.
All winners and finalists will be displayed for a 2 month period in the History Miami gallery speace and will be featured on the Miami Street Photography Festival Website for the period of one year.
It’s a great list of prizes but judging by last year’s contest this is more about having your work shown in one of the biggest and most well respected street photography festivals on the planet.
Submitted images must meet the basic definition of street photography as laid out on the MSPF website. Images must be in .jpg format and no larger than 5MB each – high resolution images will be requested from the finalists and winners. No borders, watermarks or signatures are allowed.
Entry fees are $20 per image or $75 for every 5 images sumbitted.
The 2015 Miami Street Photography Festival is the one of the most well respected photo contests on the planet. Amazing judges and a great pool of talent from around the world mean that only the very best images will make the cut.
