Things are ramping up for the Miami Street Photography Festival 2015 and they’ve just released a preview video to wet your whistle. The MSPF is quickly turning into the premiere street photography event in North America with legendary speakers, street photography workshops and one of the most respected street photography contests anywhere. Miami Street Photography Festival 2015 Preview
The video features footage from last year’s festival but it’s a great introduction to the event’s dynamic energy and wide reach both in and out of the street photography community. The Miami Street Photography Festival 2015 is happening in line with Art Basel in Miami which brought over 70,000 vistors to the magic city in 2014.
In addition to legendary speakers like Bruce Davidson, David Alan Harvey and Peter Turnley, the Miami Street Photography Festival 2015 features workshops, portfolio reviews and a world class street photography contest. The winner of this year’s contest will receive a brand new Leica Q (Typ 116) in addition to the adulation and respect of his/her peers in the street photography community.
For the first time, the Miami Street Photography Festival 2015 will be hosted by the HistoryMiami Museum and the museum will exhibit the finalists of MSPF’s international street photography competition. This exhibition will run from November 20, 2015 through January 17, 2016.
