The Ricoh GR II is the latest in a long line of street photography cameras and it enjoys an almost legendary status among street photographers. Leica is well known for its outlandish special edition cameras from the Ralph Gibson Monochrom to the puzzling M Edition 60 that was the first digital rangefinder without an LCD screen. But these were all stupidly expensive and way beyond the reach of any but the wealthiest camera collectors.
