The Ricoh GR II is the latest in a long line of street photography cameras and it enjoys an almost legendary status among street photographers. Just look at this Ricoh GR II Silver Edition. Just look at it! Sure, it’s the same Ricoh GR II that street photographers have been using all along but this one is silver. SILVER! Leica is well known for its outlandish special edition cameras from the Ralph Gibson Monochrom to the puzzling M Edition 60 that was the first digital rangefinder without an LCD screen. But these were all stupidly expensive and way beyond the reach of any but the wealthiest camera collectors.
